US Defenders of Texas/Southern Region,

For some months now we have been apprising you of the excellent
opportunity to attend the National Coalition of Motorcyclists (NCOM)
Regional Convention in DeSoto, Texas, which is just 13 or so miles from
downtown Dallas. Once again I have attached the flyer for your
convenience. Please try to make it if you can. NCOM is not mandatory as
are some other US Defender actions, but there will be folks from Texas
and five other states present there for you to meet, and much
information will be shared that is beneficial for our biker community
at-large.

Also, as a reminder, the date for the next Texas Confederation of
Clubs/Coalition of Independent Riders "Legislative Action Day 2011" in
Austin, where we will once again rally coctx.org link
below> at the Texas State Capitol, is Monday, 24 January 2011.
http://www.coctx.org/ Along with others from Region 8 I will be going up
early. On Sunday the 23rd of January, as in the past, there will be a
planning day for the action/s that will occur at the capitol on that
Monday.

US Defenders have only two (2) mandatory actions coming up in 2011: the
"Legislative Action Day 2011" referenced above, and the 4th Annual Texas
State CoC/CoIR Rally, possibly sometime in April 2011. See the following
article about last Aprils activities:

In closing, we deeply appreciate each of your fine individual and
collective efforts as volunteers in the fight for bikers rights that we
wage together as one.

Brotherhood and Solidarity,
BFC Jeffrey "2Knives" Churchill
US Defenders
Texas State Lt. Commander
South

P.S. Unit Commanders please forward to your local US Defenders.
